Anti-Strips/Asphalt Release Agents

Imidazolines and complex amido-imidazolines are the most common chemistry that ICG manufacturers for adhesion (or anti-strip) product in non-emulsion road construction.

This is often called traditional hot-mix asphalt technology. This process involves mixing aggregate with hot asphalt. The anti-strip is added to the hot asphalt to improve the adhesion between the aggregate (rock) and asphalt.  

ICG also produces an asphalt release agent, which is ideal for preventing asphalt-based mixtures from sticking to metal surfaces. This chemical is water dilutable and can be sprayed directly onto truck beds during the construction phase.
