Pour Point Depressant

There are many chemistries used to treat deposition issues arising from paraffin (wax) and asphaltene in produced fluids and gases. ICG offers concentrates that include Surfactants, fatty amines, sulfonates, phosphate esters, EVA polymers, crystal modifiers and pour point depressants.
Produced alongside oil, paraffins and asphaltenes occur naturally in any reservoir. Paraffin can form when pressure and temperature vary. Arising anywhere throughout the gathering system, these deposits can take shape as far down as the bottom hole pump and tubing. These chemicals restrict flow, reduce throughput and decrease the amount of recoverable oil and gas. Our technical representatives can help you determine the base materials you require for specific treatments.
